What is the Default Bid Rule?

The default bid rule analyzes ad group performance and adjusts their default bids to achieve your target ACOS.

It is designed mainly for legacy auto campaigns that do not have the 4 targeting groups (close match, loose match, substitutes, complements).

If your auto campaigns have these 4 targeting groups, consider using the bidding algorithm to optimize performance for more granularity and control.
