Overview of Tracked Advertising Metrics

Learn more about tracked advertising metrics.

Navigation: Ads Insights > Insights Overview > Actionable Insights

The Ads Insights overview page displays metrics tracked on other pages, such as the performance and the search terms pages.

Below are some of the default sets of metrics tracked for new accounts.

Note

You can add, remove, or customize these widgets to track different metrics.

1. Performing Search Terms

Tracks search terms with >= 5 orders and >= 15% conversion.

Consider: 

  • Manually adding these search terms as new keywords in Seller Central or automating this process with the Import Algorithm.

  • Identifying high-converting search terms with high orders, then using Mass Campaigns > Split Keywords to Campaigns to create Single Keyword Campaigns to scale your sales.

Click on the Details icon at the top right of each table to see the full report with more details.

2. Search Terms with 0 sales

Tracks search terms with >= $10 spent and 0 orders.

Consider adding negative keywords manually in Seller Central or automating this process with the Negative Algorithm.

3. Search Terms with High ACOS 

Tracks search terms with >= $10 spent and >= 50% ACOS.

Consider adding negative keywords manually in Seller Central or automating this process with the Negative Algorithm.

4. Keywords with 0 Sales 

Tracks keywords with >= $20 spent and 0 orders.

Consider reducing keyword bids in Seller Central or automating this optimization process with the Bidding Algorithm.

5. Keywords with High ACOS

Tracks keywords with >= $20 spent and >= 60% ACOS.

Consider reducing keyword bids in Seller Central or automating this optimization process with the Bidding Algorithm.

6. Missing Good Keyword in Title 

Splits search terms into individual words and tracks unique word with >= 10 orders and >= 15% conversion but not in product title.

Evaluates if the words are beneficial to include in your product's title to boost organic ranking.

7. Unique Word with 0 Sales

Splits search terms into individual words and track unique words with >= 25 clicks and 0 orders.

Evaluates if it is beneficial to add negative phrase keywords manually in Seller Central or automates this process with the Negative Word Algorithm.

8. Ad Groups with High ACOS

Tracks ad groups with >= $50 spent and >= 80% ACOS.

Note

There are other tracked metrics not listed in this article, such as poor-performing campaigns, performing keywords, and poor-performing products.

Customizing filters

Click on the Edit icon to edit the filter parameters and control the columns to show.

You can filter ASINs/keywords, select the initial sorting order, and select the metrics to display.
