Keyword tracking error in Japan marketplace

Keyword tracking in the Japan marketplace may sometimes result in errors.

This is because the system currently cannot differentiate between certain Japanese character sets (i.e., Hiragana and Katakana).

For example:

• アイフォン (Katakana)
• あいふぉん (Hiragana)

Although these characters look different, the system recognizes them as duplicates.

As a result, the system flags them as conflicting entries and returns an error when uploading keyword rankings or tracking keywords.

Note: Support for handling character variations in Japanese will be added in future software updates.
